TOWN OF HANCOCK
A LOCAL LAW ELECTING NOT TO ENFORCE THE NEW YORK STATE UNIFORM FIRE PREVENTION
AND BUILDING CODE
Be it enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Hancock as follows:
ARTICLE I; Pursuant to the authority contained in Executive Law, Section
38l (2), it is hereby determined and the election is hereby made that the
Town of Hancock shall not enforce the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention
and Building Code on or after the first day of January, l984.
ARTICLE II; This Local Law shall take effect immediately.

I, RUTH J. SCHOONMAKER, Town Clerk of the Town of Hancock, Delaware
County, New York, DO HEREBY CERTIFY, that I have compared the preceding
copy of Local Law No. l of the Year l983 with the original thereof, duly
adopted by the Town Board of such Town at a Regular Meeting of such Board
on the lst day of June, l983, and that the same is a true and correct copy
of such Local Law of the whole thereof.
