TOWN OF HANCOCK
LOCAL LAW NO. 2 OF THE YEAR 1988
A Local Law providing that the maximum income eligibility for the age sixty-five and over real
property tax exemption be raised to eight thousand five hundred dollars.
Be it enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Hancock as follows:
SECTION l. The maximum income eligibility for the age sixty-five and over real property
tax exemption shall hereby be increased to the sum of eight thousand five hundred dollars.
SECTION 2. This Local Law shall take effect on the twentieth day following its enactment.
I hereby certify that the local law annexed hereto, designated as Local Law No 2 of l988 of
the Town of Hancock was duly passed by the Town Board on March l6, l988 in accordance with the
applicable provisions of law.
I further certify that I have compared the preceding local law with the original on file in
this office and that the same is a correct transcript therefrom and of the whole of such
original local law, and was finally adopted in the manner indicated in paragraph l above.
