Halloween safety
๐ŸŽƒ Halloween is one of our favorite times of the year โ€” the costumes, the candy, and all the community fun!

As we get ready for the big night, letโ€™s also make sure itโ€™s a safe one for every little ghost and goblin out there. ๐Ÿ‘ป From bright costumes and glow sticks to checking treats and sticking to familiar routes โ€” a few simple steps can make all the difference.

๐ŸŽจUse a non-mask option such as face paint if possible and ensure vision isnโ€™t blocked.

๐Ÿ”ฆMake kids visibleโ€”reflective tape, glow sticks, bright bags.

๐Ÿ Pick well-lit, familiar routesโ€”avoid dark houses & unknown neighborhoods.

๐Ÿ‘ญ๐Ÿ‘ฌWalk in groups; younger kids with an adult; older kids stick with friends.

๐ŸšธUse sidewalks, cross only at signals, donโ€™t run across streets.

๐ŸฌInspect all treats before eatingโ€”look for unwrapped or damaged items.

๐Ÿช€Choose non-food treats too (for allergies) or clearly read labels.

๐Ÿš—Be extra careful as a driver on Halloween nightโ€”kids are less predictable.
