HANCOCK, NY — Adventure, teamwork, and fun are back for a new year of Cub Scouts!
Parents of Kindergarten through 5th grade students are invited to bring their kids to the first Cub Scout meeting of the year on Wednesday, October 29, at 6:30 p.m.
The meeting will take place at the Presbyterian Church, located at 217 W. Main Street, Hancock.
New and returning families are welcome — no registration required. Leaders will be on hand to help parents learn how to join, answer questions, and explain all the exciting activities planned for the year ahead, including camping, fishing, hiking, and canoeing.
“Cub Scouts is a great way for kids to build confidence, make friends, and experience the outdoors,” organizers said. “We’re looking forward to welcoming new families into our pack.”
Families interested in joining can simply stop by the meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
