Former Hancock Central High School basketball star Laycee Drake has signed to play professional basketball overseas.
It was announced Saturday that Drake has signed with the B. Braun Sheffield Hatters of Super League Basketball in the United Kingdom.
Drake was a high school star at Hancock where she led the program to a MAC championship in 2020. She went on to play NCAA Division I women's basketball at UMBC, UAlbany, and St. Bonaventure.
As a graduate student for the Bonnies, she started 33 games this past season and led the team in scoring with 15.5 points per game to go along with 6.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contest.
