Southwestern Delaware County in central New York, Susquehanna County in northeastern Pennsylvania, Northwestern Wayne County in northeastern Pennsylvania, and Northeastern Bradford County in northeastern Pennsylvania Until 230 PM EDT. At 134 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles southeast of Afton to near North Towanda, moving southeast at 25 mph. Locations impacted include... Binghamton, Kirkwood, Conklin, Rush, Jackson, Sanford, Susquehanna, Deposit, Susquehanna Depot and Montrose. Information obtained from the National Weather Service (www.weather.gov) on 07/27/23.

Please join the Hancock Volunteer Fire Department for their annual Fireman's Field Days Fair. The fair opens today and tomorrow at 6PM, and Saturday at noon. Stop over to have dinner including our famous clams & shrimp. Don't forget to bring the kiddies to enjoy the Fireworks and the many rides we have like the Super Slide and Ferris Wheel. For adults we have LIVE music and our famous beer tent! All proceeds go to support your local fire department. We need your support to pay for the expensive repairs, maintenance, and ongoing costs of running a Fire Department here in the Western Catskills. Your support goes a long way in saving lives and homes, every dollar counts! Our Fireman’s Field Days Parade is held on Saturday, July 29th. Lineup is at 5PM at HCS with the parade stepping off at 6PM.
