We will see between 88 and 99 percent coverage depending on your location and view. The eclipse starts at 2:11 p.m. today April 8th. However, please be advised that staring at the sun for prolonged periods even with protective eyewear can cause damage to your eyes. Please use extreme caution and avoid direct solar exposure where possible. Especially ensure that all youth and children are safely avoiding direct exposure during this time. Please be advised that your phone camera and camera lenses may also be damaged if held up to direct exposure for extended periods.

Weather & Event Advisory: Due to heavy snowfall the school was closed early today and the Indoor Walking event at HCSD has been canceled this evening due to inclement weather. Local residents are advised to drive safely due to ice on roads, only be on the roads when necessary to allow for winter road maintenance and plowing.
